Game Review This game was high pace and intense both teams left it all on the court, but only win team can bring home the Championship trophy. Park Center and Apple Valley both played the same style of game, Apple Valley made 23/28 FT 82%, while Park Center made 17/31 FT 54.8%. Tyus Jones made 18/18 and took the game over with his play making ability on both sides of the ball. This game was even in many ways with Apple Valley turning it over 15 times to Park Center's 16 turn overs.

Apple Valley Apple Valley was just on their own level for this Championship game. Their was no way Apple Valley was not going home a champion. Tyus Jones 28pts 5ast set the pace for this game playing aggressiveness and leadership. Apple Valley out scored Park Center 12-2 in fast beak points. Dennis Austin 15pts 15reb 3ast 2stl had a major impact on this game. Brock Bertram 8pts 9reb 5blk was a post presence offensively and defensively. Dustin Fronk 14pts 3ast and Harry Sonie 5pts 2ast 2stl had solid games to help get their team the win. 

Park Center Park Center came with their B game against and team playing their A+ game. This was overall solid team performance but was not the kinda game they needed to beat Apple Valley Tonight. Quiton Hooker gave his best to lead his team to this championship. Treyton Daniels 10pts 5reb and Devin Buckley 15pts 4reb did their part to try to win. Isaiah McKay 5pts, Issac Matthews 2pts 4reb 3blk, and Joshua Matthews 5pts 4reb where needed to do more to get this Championship. Park Center overall played a competitive game, but needed a great game to get the one.

Two teams enjoying breakout seasons for their programs as they will compete to make a run to the State finals.This game features a match up of two of states top points guards facing off Quinton Hooker and Graham Woodward. Both teams come in wanting to run and play a high scoring game.

Game Review Park Center and Edina both played their style of game. Park Center Athletes and depth was the major difference in this game. Park Center was able to put together big runs that Edina was not able to answer. Edina shot 16.7 % from deep and shot 43.8 % from the free throw line in the second half. Park Center brought their A game and ran away with this one.

Park Center Park Center had a balance scoring attack. Isiah McKay 16pts in the first half and Devin Buckley 13pts 11reb 5ast in second half, both had major impacts and took over giving Park Center big time scoring. Quinton Hooker 14pts 7ast pushed the pace of the game and locked up Graham Woodward in the second half. Treyton Daniel 12pts 3reb 2blk made big plays on both sides of the ball.This was a complete team effort on both sides of the ball holding Edina to 22.8% shooting in the game. Edina Edina did not have a bad game as much as they were out matched at their own game.Graham Woodward did his share in the first half with 12 points but could not carry his team in the second finishing 5/19 from the field. Reggie Lynch did as much as he could with his foul trouble but had a major impact in the minutes that he played. Mark Handberg 7pts 12reb, Dane Teuteberg 4pts 9reb and Ben Boone 6pts shot 3/24 and really gave Edina no chance to win without production from their key role players.

One one the most anticipated games of the post season as one the nations best players in the class 2014 Rashad Vaughn faces one the top teams in the state with senior leader Quinton Hooker. Cooper is on a 18 game winning steak and upset Park Center in last years sections. The winner of the game should make a deep run into State.

Game Review This was one of the most competitive games of this years sections as both teams battled and brought their A game. Park Center is on a mission leaving it all on the court with the big time win to move to the 4A section 5 finals. Park Center has played at a high level all season and was able defeat a Cooper team that had plans of going

Park Center Park Canter played a complete game all out for 36 minutes. Park Center played a blanced game with 3 players scoring in double figures. Quinton Hooker 22pts proved that he was up to the challenge, leading his team to victory. Treyton Daniels 16pts had a major impact on this game on both sides of the ball. Devin Buckley 13pts was on point in the second half getting to the rim and big shots from the perimeter. The role players that Park Center are as good some teams best players.

Cooper Cooper played a solid game, their core role players did not make the big plays down the strech to close the win. Rashad Vaughn 37pts 17reb played at like All-American but his team fail short of the win. Lavar McCullough 14pts had a sodid game, Cooper needed him.

Park Center @ Minnetoka

#2 Park Center (23-2) vs #11 Minnetonka (19-6)

This match up is of  2 of the top programs this season, in a regular ending none-conference game. This game features to of the top players in the 2013 class Minnetoka's Riley Dearring and Parker Centers Quinton Hooker. Both team are looking forward to making runs is this years State Tournament with senior led teams.

Game Review This was a good game to have a scheduled at the end of the season for fans of Minnesota high school basketball. Minnetonka came out a sit a physical tone of game that Park Center played into. Park Center has proved to be one of the best teams in the state this year,but Minnetonka can beat any team on  their home court. This game was very competitive and had the feeling of a section game.     

Minnetonka Minnetonka can beat anybody on their home court. Riley Derring 26pts really played to win a was very aggressive with 20 pts second half second half. Minnetoka played all 12 of their varsity players and 9 of the scoring. Malcolm Moore 15pts had a complete game and big part of the win Minnetoka has wins over some of the top teams this season including Cooper, Hopkins and now Park Center. This game was won on defense as Minnetoka got the stops they needed to close the game.

Park Center Park Center played a solid game, but they where not on their a game in a place that gave them not favors with the whistle. Park Center could have beat 90% of teams this season with their play in this game, but not Minnetoka. This was a balance scoring game with 4 players in double digits, Devin Buckley 16pts and Isaiah Mckay 12pts. The injury to Treyton Daniels 13pts had a big impact as he would not play at 100% the rest of the game. Quinton Hooker 23pts had a solid performance and had some calls go against him down the stretch that would have won Park Center the game.

When the season schedule came out we knew this would be a good game, what we did not know is that they would be undefeated and be rank #1 in their classes when this game is played. This match-up of two of the states top scores Park Center scoring point guard Quinton Hooker and De La Salle's dominate post player Reid Travis.

Game Review 

De La Salle De La Salle played a complete and balanced game, playing on both sides of the ball. De La Salle had good ball movement, scoring inside in the post and making shots from behind  the ark. The execution in the half court won the game. Very few teams have the talent to compete with Park Center,  Reid Travis's 36pts and Luke Scott 19pts led one of the Mid-West regions most talented teams to a big out of conference win. James Lawson 6pts 8reb had and impact that wont show on the score sheet. The young studs Jarvis Johnson and Sacar Amin combined for 2 points. This game was really a statement game by De La Salle and Reid Travis, this win should carry major wight when section seeding comes out.

Park Center Park Center played a good game but not a complete game. Park Center is a great perimeter team defensively and offensively. De La Salle's post play was not something that Park Center seem to have game planed for and they paid for it. Quinton Hooker 24 was solid as normal, Treyton Daniels with 11pts Devin Buckley and Isaiah McKay with 8pts each. Park Center should have played Issac Mathews from the  tip in this game a change in their line-up they made.in their line-up with the addition of Buckley.If Park Center had home court they my have won this one, but very few teams in Minnesota are a talented as De La Salle and they did not have their A game.

The Super60 event brought us some good games and some great  best talent out the metro. Here is a look at the players that had great games, and led their teams in the super60 showcase.

First Team All-Showcase

PG- Dwight Anderson Minneapolis Washburn Class 2012- Led his team to a win over Totino-Grace and took over the games in the second of the game. Led the Miller’s with 23 points.

SG- Anders Broman Lakeview Christian Academy class 2013- Led his team in scoring and took over in part of the game almost got a comeback win over Prairie Seeds Academy with 30.

SF- Devin Buckley Prairie Seeds Academy Class 2013- Had a complete game on both sides of the ball pushing his team to a win over Lakeview Christian Academy. 27 6reb 4ast and great defense.

 PF- Rashard Vaughn (MVP) Robbinsdale Cooper Class 2014- The Most dominate performance of the event leading his team to a win with 17 points a half and timely shots. 34 10reb

C- Nick Carr Class Totino-Grace 2012- The only pure post player in this years event, showed why everybody love’s a big man. Carr led his team in scoring and had Totino-grace feeling like they could get the win over Washburn. He had a big impact on both sides of the ball .29 11reb

Second Team All-Showcase

PG- Trent Pollard Prairie Seeds Academy Class - When Lakeview Christian Academy made their run, he was the answer and was the most effective defender on Anders Broman. Timely baskets to close the half and the game. 20 3ast

SG- Bjorn Broman Lakeview Christian Academy Class 2015- Playing almost the whole game. When older brother Anders was on the bench it was Bjorn carrying the team a 9^th grader 25 big pts.

SF- Darrion Scott F.A.I.R  Downtown Class 2012- Darrion made it look effortless as let the game come too him. A complete performance on both sides of the ball. Leading his team in scoring with 22.

 PF- Thomas Ford Minneapolis South Class 2012- Without Thomas effort their game against Cooper would have been ugly. Thomas led his team in scoring with 28 20 of them in the second half scoring from all over court.

C/F- Gage Deis Prairie Seeds Academy Class 2013- Had a bigger impact then what will show on the score board. Gage made Lakeview Christian Academy get their points from the perimeter when he was in the game. Made big plays down the stretch above the rim. 18 11reb
