Class: 2015 It seems to only get better for the talent level in Minnesota. The class of 2015 is packed with high caliber basketball talent. The 2015 class have had a major impact on Minnesota High school basketball this season. If you don't know who some these guys are you been sleep and soon will wake up.


1) Alex IIIikainen   C  6’9 Grad Rapids – A dominate post player with a good  motor and instincts. Was the second best player on a really good team, that made it to the state tournament. Alex can finish around the rim over other front court players, has the ability to pass out the post and make plays for others plays with in the offense. Alex is one of the best post players in the state regardless of class. Averaged 17.0 points 10.6 rebounds and shot FG % 61 this season.

2) Jarvis Johnson  PG 6’1  De La Salle – High caliber point guard skills. Crafty point, playmaker, plays under control, has elite use change of speed and direction to set up his defender up.. Has the ability to collapse the defense off the dribble and can make plays for others around the rim and on the perimeter. Plays with in the offense, can create off the dribble to penetrate and has explosiveness around the rim. Championship point guard as a freshman, Only the 3rd freshmen to start varsity for De La Salle. All-State-Tournament team and the only freshman in the state rank in ESPN’s Top 100 in the class of 2015.

3) Sam Neumann SF/SG  6’4  Cretin Derham-Hall-  High caliber basketball IQ. Sam’s a elite shooter with, solid wing and guard skills. Works well in the offense, spaces and runs the courts well. Has the ability to find the open space in half court and on the break behind the arc. Can take over a game with when hot Versatile scorer average 14.2 points, scored in double figures 21/27 games and scored in every game this season.

4) Marshawn Wilson PG/SG  6’2  Tartan-  Explosive athlete, aggressive on both ends of the court. A true combo guard package. Solid ball handling, perimeter shooting, court vision, scores instincts and dynamic finishing. Marshawn has an elite first step and elevation to beat defenders an score in the half court. Averaged 9.1 points and scored in double figures 13/24 games this season. Can guard multiple positions and one of the best perimeter defenders in the class. Played in every varsity game this season and was a impact player.

5) Sacar Anim  SF/SG  6’4  De La Salle- Absolute stud, dynamic athlete with a complete wing package, athleticism, size, physical tools and skills.  Has solid perimeter shooting skills and ball handling. Started junior varsity and play some varsity on state championship team. Explosiveness and upper body strength to post, drive and finish in the half court. Can guard multiple positions and is the most versatile defender in the class.

6) Andrew Grosz  PG  6’0 Minnetonka-  Speedy Crafty, plays with in the offense and thrives in the open court. Average 9.2 points off the bench, has a high basketball IQ with good playmaking ability and instincts. Has the ability to turn it on when needed and be a scorer. Was a major contributor to a good varsity team. Runs the offense well and will score if left open.

7) Joey Witthus  F  6’3 Chanhassen-  Versatile forward, with good energy and instincts. Plays well with in the offense and is aggressive on both sides of the ball. Can finish around the rim and in traffic with some solid moves in the post. Stared varsity all year and was one of there better players on a good team.

8) JT Gibson  PG 6’1  Champlin Park- A high caliber, scoring point guard with the ability to make plays for others. Played in every varsity game this season. Solid perimeter shooting and ball handling. Moved up the depth chart all year ended the season playing starter minutes. Can be a breakout scorer, scored 20 plus 3 times when given the minutes.

9). Donnell Grisham  PG  6’0  Tartan- Pure point guard, makes playing point guard look easy. Solid ball handling and perimeter shooting.  Moved up the all season dominated freshman and the majority of junior varsity games. Excels at pushing the ball up court and is a dynamic playmaker. One of the most balanced point guards in the class. Has the ability to make other players better.

10) Evan Shepherd  SG  6’3 Minneapolis Washburn – Lean, long, athlete, veritable wing player with solid guard skills. Plays well with the offense, but also can be a high caliber scorer. Started every junior varsity game this season, for a team that was dominate. Averaged over 16.0 a game in junior varsity games and was add to the varsity roster when the junior varsity season ended.

11) Bjorn Broman  PG/SG  6’0  Lakeview Christian Academy- High energy player, that plays both sides of the ball. Bjorn at his best is a pure point guard and is a better athlete then his older brother Anders. Has good play making ability, solid ball handling and court vision.  Averaged 13.2 points 9.4 assets 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 steal a game this season. Play at a high level all season being a major contributor to a successful team’s basketball season.

12)  Mohammad Lawal  PG/SG 6’2   Breck-  Prototype combo guard skill set. High caliber scorer, who can get past the first defender, and break down the defense off the dribble. Can finish around the rim in traffic and solid perimeter shooting. Average 13.5 points this season, scored in double digits 18/28 games and 20 plus points 6 times. Plays aggressive on both sides of the ball. Can run the offense and has solid play making ability. Started varsity all year for a young team that also suffered from some injuries.

13) Jerome Dixon  SG  6'0  Armstrong- Athletic and fast, intense player high energy on both sides of the ball. Jeromee is excellent perimeter shooter and can finish above the rim in traffic. Moved up all season starting on the freshmen team and ending the season on the varsity. Has a dynamic shooting guard skill set.

14) Grantham Gillard G  6’2  Maranatha Christian Academy-  Athletic and strong, with solid wing and guard skills. Has all the athleticism and physical tools to dominate other guards with his size. Thrives in the open court and finishing on fast break. Played junior varsity for the few games, and end the season averaging 10.0 points 2.5 asset in the sectional playoffs.    

15)  Marty Hill G  6’0  Champlin Park  –  Crafty point guard with high basketball IQ. Has the ability to beat his defender of the dribble. Solid perimeter shooting and perimeter defender. Has all the skills to play varsity, but not sure why he never was moved up this season.
