One one the most anticipated games of the post season as one the nations best players in the class 2014 Rashad Vaughn faces one the top teams in the state with senior leader Quinton Hooker. Cooper is on a 18 game winning steak and upset Park Center in last years sections. The winner of the game should make a deep run into State.

Game Review This was one of the most competitive games of this years sections as both teams battled and brought their A game. Park Center is on a mission leaving it all on the court with the big time win to move to the 4A section 5 finals. Park Center has played at a high level all season and was able defeat a Cooper team that had plans of going

Park Center Park Canter played a complete game all out for 36 minutes. Park Center played a blanced game with 3 players scoring in double figures. Quinton Hooker 22pts proved that he was up to the challenge, leading his team to victory. Treyton Daniels 16pts had a major impact on this game on both sides of the ball. Devin Buckley 13pts was on point in the second half getting to the rim and big shots from the perimeter. The role players that Park Center are as good some teams best players.

Cooper Cooper played a solid game, their core role players did not make the big plays down the strech to close the win. Rashad Vaughn 37pts 17reb played at like All-American but his team fail short of the win. Lavar McCullough 14pts had a sodid game, Cooper needed him.

A big game as both these teams are on a roll and looking for higher seeding in the sections coming in the next few weeks. St. Louis Park faces Cooper and Rashad Vaughn a top 10 player in nation 2014 class. A rematch of a.game Cooper won by 2 at home 4 weeks ago. Cooper is on a 15 game winning streak and have not lost a game to a MYSM unranked team this season. St. Louis Park only lose in the last 15 game was to Cooper in a nail biter.

Game Review This game was a battle that really gave us a show. Cooper really was playing hard and made few mistakes in this game and showed discipline down the stretch. This game was not high scoring but it was high pace and intense at any this season. Both theses team have underrated guards and left it all on the court tonight with seniors see there high season coming to a end.Cooper played not lose as the game and almost let St. Louis Park complete the comeback in the closing minutes of the game.

Cooper Cooper played a solid game on both sides of the ball, getting needed stops on defense and big shoots to answer St. Louis Park's runs. Right from the tip Lavar McCullough 12pts attacked a set the tone for the game. Billy Kellogg 23pts had a complete game, if he is able of have a few more games this season like this Cooper could win sections. Brandon Robinson 10pts got his points in the paint and had a impact. Cooper showed that this is not a one man band as Cooper played a very balanced scoring game with 4 players in double digits. Rashad Vaughn 24pts had a average game for him, but showed good leadership keeping his team together. Cooper is a sleeper if they can make it out their loaded section.

St. Louis Park St.Louis Park had a good game and did not give anything away. St.Louis had the game within 5 with 2:00 left in the game but fell short. St.Louis let the lead get to far behind to complete the comeback, ever that Cooper never led by more then 15.This was a flat-out stud performance for DJ Pollard 27pts had 16pts in the first half if he did not this game could been over in the first half. Kashif Hayes 19pts had a solid game did not play aggressive on both sides of the ball in the first half, but had clutch second half with big shoots to give his a team a chance.

One of the premier match-ups of the 2012-2013 Minnesota high school basketball season as the states most talented program faces one of the Nations top players in 2014 class Rashard Vaughn.

Game Review 

Hopkins Hopkins played their game turning defense to offenses and making a ton of makes from deep. Hopkins had a solid team game being able to stretch the floor and share the ball with 4 players in double figures led by Jake Write 20pts 5 makes from deep. Phillip Stribling 17pts played a good game grabbing boards and getting the ball up court. Kamali Chambers 13pts and Nick Johnson 11pts with solid games on both sides of the ball. Jamal Davis did not have a good night from the floor with only 3pts. Amir Coffey 7pts  had a solid game with his play-making and ball movement.

Cooper Cooper had chances to get back in the game, but could not get the defensive stops to close the gap. Rashard Vaughn 36pts had a good game giving his team a chance down the stretch. Lavar McCullough 12pts with up and down game but still had the most impact next to Vaughn. Cooper often has really good chances of  beating some of the teams on their schedule, but need to have complete games to beat well coached and talented team.Role players need to focus on defense and finishing games.

This is a game that people have been waiting for and its a packed house at Washburn High school for this early season metro match-up featuring some of the metro's top talent. Rashard Vaughn one of the nations top players in the 2014 class, faces Minneapolis most talented program and one the states top guards Nick Anderson.

Game Review 
Cooper: Cooper gets it's second close win in two days over Wayzata and Washburn. Cooper played the games from behind most of the game, but when the game was close Cooper had ball control and made the shots down the stretch. Clutch play by freshman point guard Taron Pick 4 of 4 from the free-throw line. Darrious Denson 14 pts and Marques Gray 8pts for Cooper creating second chances on offense and keeping Washburn to one and done on in the second half had a impact. Lavar McCullough 11pts and Billy Kellogg 12pts 14 of that in the second half. Rashard Vaughn with a solid performance 24 pts.

Washburn: Washburn held the lead for most of the game, but cooled of towards the end. Washburn made 7 three pointers in the first half and 5 in the second half if that make 7 in the second half they win. Nick Anderson 21 pts 4 threes, Evan Shepherd 11pts 3 threes Jeff Jones 12 pts 2 threes. You live by the trey die by the trey and Washburn plays that style right now.The return of senior F/C Noah Scarver payed diva dins on the glass and getting some scoring inside to help create balance for this jump shooting Washburn Squad.
