Minnesota continues to produce a solid number of high caliber prospects that will definitely demand major attention of the coming as well as lead their respective programs. Minnesota's 2018 class is loaded with talented prospects such as Tre Jones, Shae Mitchell, Jovanni Bickham, Race Thomson, Anthony Davis and Gabe Kalscheur.

1) Jovanni Bickham 6'8 F, Wisconsin United, Minnehaha Academy

Bickham is the top prospect from Minnesota's 2018 class and one of rising stars in the class nationally. Bickham possesses a high caliber forward skill set, high basketball IQ, elite play making ability and ball handling for his position. Bickham played a major role for Minnehaha Academy and was one of the premier prospects from the class during the 2014 high school season. Bickham has good perimeter shooting range out to behind the arc, preforms all the fundamental post skills at high level, rebounds and defends his position at a high level. Bickham has elite upside and potential. Bickham had a excellent spring campaign playing with Wisconsin United 15U playing a 16U elite schedule more than half of the tournaments and was arguably the best player on a team that was ranked one of the top 15U teams nationally all spring. Bickham was one of the stand out prospects from the CP3 2018 camp in North Carolina making the top 20 game and is ranked 6th in the nation by NY2LA Sports.  Bickham is receiving interest from but not limited to Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, University of Chicago Illinois, Northern Illinois University, Wisconsin, IUPUI, Tulsa and LSU.


2) Shae Mitchell 6'6 SF, Future Stars, Lakeville South

Mitchell is the top wing prospect in Minnesota's 2018 class and one of the premier wing prospects in the class nationally. Mitchell possesses elite athleticism, explosiveness in the open court, around the rim and a versatile wing forward skill set. Mitchell had great 8th grade campaign working his way up from the freshman team to the varsity team at Lakeville South during the 2014 high school season. Mitchell had a breakout spring campaign preforming at high level for Future Stars as well as We All Can Go the nations top 14U team, was a invite to the fab freshman top camp in Atlanta and was one of the stand out prospects. Mitchell has elite basketball upside and potential. Mitchell is very likely candidate for the Junior National team tryouts next spring, has high major potential and drawing interest from N.C. State and Wake Forest.



3) Tre Jones 6'0 PG, Pulley 15s, Apple Valley

6) Race Thomson 6'6 F, D1 Minnesota, Armstrong

Thompson is one of the most athletic and top front court prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. Thompson has a great overall front court prospect skill set, finishes around the rim at a high rate, good post presence on both sides of the court and runs the court well. Thompson has continued to develop his ball skills and grown over the last year becoming one of the top prospects in the class. Thompson has great athleticism the ability to play above the rim on both sides of the and has great upside. Thompson had a good spring campaign for D1 Minnesota showing great potential and production.





7) Adam Trapp 6'11 F/C, Pulley's 15s, Esko

Trapp the kid giant is the top post prospect from Minnesota's 2018 class and by far the tallest. Trapp possesses a solid overall post skill set, plays with good energy, good finishing ability around the rim and solid defensive instincts. Younger brother of UCLA woman redshirt freshman Savanna Trapp Adam Trapp possesses high caliber upside and potential. Trapp was having a good spring campaign for Pulley before getting injured and sitting out the rest of spring. Trapp has the potential to develop into a high major recruit in the future.


8) Anthony Davis 6'1 G, MN Lockdown 16's, Hopkins

Davis is one of the most skilled, athletic and top guard prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. Davis possesses a high caliber combo guard skill set, explosiveness in the open court as well as around the basket, solid perimeter shooting range and good athleticism. Davis had a good 8th grade campaign for Hopkins playing on the sophomore team during the 2014 high school season. Oturu had a great spring campaign for Pulley and was one of the premier prospects over the spring. Oturu has great agility, dexterity and has great overall upside. Oturu possesses many the physical attributes needed to become a division 1 recruit.






11) Markel Aune 5'10 PG, Future Stars, Kennedy

Aune is the premier scoring point guard from Minnesota's 2018 class. Aune possesses a high caliber point guard skill set, the ability to penetrate the defense off the dribble to create opportunities for others as well as himself, good perimeter shooting range to behind the arc and great scoring instincts. Anue had a breakout 8th grade campaign starting varsity for FAIR and was one of the premier 2018 prospects during the 2014 high putting up big time numbers. Aune has the ability to run the offense, create plays in the open and makes his team better.





12) Sage Booker 6'0 G, 43 Hoops, De La Salle

Booker is on of the most skilled, athletic and top guard prospects in Minnesota's 2018 class. King possesses a high caliber point guard skill set, good play making ability, great basketball IQ, great deep shooting range, plays under control and makes his team better. King had a excellent 8th grade campaign playing major minutes for Caledonia during the 2014 high school season helping lead them to a state tournament championship appearance. King is one of the most varsity ready prospects from the class and possesses good upside.






15) Joseph Hedstom 6'7 C, Heat, Hopkins

Hedstom is one of the top post prospects from Minnesota's 2018.
Hedstom plays with solid energy, runs the court well for his size and has good finishing ability around the rim. Hedstom continues to develop into a solid post prospect and has good upside. Hedstom has solid post presence on both sides of the court and good defensive post instincts. Hedstom has many of the physical attributes needed to become a division 1 recruit Hedstom had a good spring campaign for the Heat showing good potential and production.


16) David Alston 6'5 F, 43 Hoops, Woodbury

Alston is one of the most skilled and complete forward prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. Alston has a solid overall forward skill set, solid finishing ability around the rim, run the court, good rebounding and scoring instincts. Alston had a good spring campaign preforming at high level during the NY2LA GNBA season for 43 Hoops. Alston is fundamentally sound in all phases of the game, defends the paint and runs court well.






17) Krystian Toliver 6'4 F, Pulley, Cretin Derham Hall

Toliver is one of the most athletic and versatile wing forward prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. Toliver possesses great athleticism, explosiveness attacking the basket and finishing ability around the rim. Toliver had a good spring campaign for Pulley showing great potential and production.








18) Delawrence Aaron 6'2 F, 43 Hoops, Hopkins

Aaron is one of the most skilled and top wing forward prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. Aaron has a high caliber wing forward skill set, high quality finishing ability around the rim, solid perimeter shooting range and impacts the game without the ball. Aaron thrives in the open court attacking the basket, running the court in transition and defends his position well.







19) Christian Dickson  6'1 PG, Future Stars, De La Salle

Dickerson is one of the most skilled and top point guard prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. 21) Kyle Kluge 5'10 SG, 43 Hoops, Eden Prairie

Kluge is one of the most skilled and top shooters in Minnesota's 2018 class.  Kluge possesses great shooting range from deep, plays with in the offense and knows how to get open for his shot. Kluge had a good spring campaign preforming at high during the NY2LA GNBA season for 43 Hoops.


22) Gary Smith 6'3 SF/SG, Heat, St. Agnes

Smith is of the most athletic and versatile wing prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class. Smith possesses good athleticism, the ability to slash to the rim off of the dribble and finish around the rim at a high rate. Smith had a great spring campaign preforming at high level for the Heat, growing and developing into a solid collegiate recruit.







23) Brain Larson 5'8 PG, Pulley, Braham

Larson is on of the most skilled and top point guard prospects from Minnesota's 2018 class.
