2014: Minnesota's super class, the 2014 class is unparalleled Minnesota high school basketball recruiting history. With 3 prospects in the top 40 players in the nation and a host of other D1 prospects Minnesota is all the way on the map. This class is loaded guards and wing prospects with great athleticism. Minnesota high school basketball talent is at a all time with possible 20 plus division 1 players in this class.

1) Tyus Jones 6'2 PG Apple Valley - The highest rated player to ever come out of Minnesota and the number one point guard in the nation. Tyus is the prototype point guard prospect of the highest caliber. The coaches point guard, makes his teammates better and controls the game, with his cerebral aptitude. Averaging 20.9 points 7.6 assist and 3.8 rebounds this season, while leading his team to its first Minnesota high school state championship. Tyus is a pass first point guard with elite play making and scoring ability.  A 5 star prospect and member of the Junior National Team, Tyus has his choice of what school he will attend as one the most sought out players in the nation.

2) Rashad Vaughn 6'6 SG Cooper- The Ultimate high caliber Division 1 prospect. Vaughn possesses the tools the people can't get enough of Minnesota's Mr.Showtime. The only prospects in the top 10 nationally who can play point, shooting guard as well as small forward. With ridiculous stats averaging 28.5 points 9.8 rebounds 3.2 assist 2.7 steals and 2 blocks this season. Vaughn is the top Shooting Guard prospect in the nation and has unlimited potential. Vaughn will have a choice of what program you will be attending with offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas, Connecticut and almost every other high Division one program.

3) Reid Travis 6'8 PF De La Salle- The most dominate post presence in the state of Minnesota and one of the fastest rising national prospects in the 2014 class, Travis is considered one of the top 10 forward prospects in the nation. Travis is a versatile high caliber front court player. Averaging 27.4 points this season while leading his team to its second straight state tournament title. Reid is gifted multi sport athlete that could easy play Division 1 football at a high level at quarterback. Travis list of college basketball scholarship offers is only growing with offers from Arizona, Boston College, Michigan State, USC and UCLA.

4) Andre Wallace PG 6'1 Eden Prairie- Ultra quick and explosive scoring guard thrives in the open court making plays for others and himself. Wallace has a combo guard skill set. Andre has solid play making ability and elite explosiveness and open court. Andre has the ability to beat off the dribble and finish above the rim in traffic. Averaging 16 points 5 rebounds 2 assist this season. Andre has offers from Washington State and Oregon State, with great interest from several PAC 12 teams; as well as over 10 D2 program offers.

5) Carter Kirk 6'8 PF  A physical specimen, looks the part and plays to part. Possesses all the physical attributes, a solid post presents on both sides of the ball. Kirk is a stud and possesses the upside that division 1 program seek in front court players. Averaging 22.7 points and 11.2 rebounds, while leading his team to a state tournament appearance. Carter stock is rising, with offers from UNI and Drake, while drawing great regional interest and interest from several Big 10 programs.

6) JP Macura 6'5 SG Lakeville-  Skilled shooter with solid wing guard skill set. JP is a solid athlete with a good IQ and elite shooting range. Averaging 25.6 points this season while leading his team to a state tournament appearance. JP is a high caliber player and stock is rising major offers on the way. JP has offers from Kansas State, Boston College, Milwaukee and St. Louis. Macura is also drawing interest from Butler, New Mexico State and Toledo.

7) Delshon Strickland 6'4 SG Holy Angels -  Dynamic athlete with bounce and good upside. High caliber wing guard skill set, with the ability to take defenders of the bounce finish in traffic above the rim. Averaging 18.3 points this season producing closer to his potential. Delshon tools translate too Division 1 major program guard prospect with his athleticism and length. Strickland stock is rising, with offers from Vermont, Richmond, Drake, Hampton, Leigh, North Dakota and North Dakota State while drawings interest from Butler, Florida State, Gonzaga, Washington State and Texas.

8)  Ian Theisen 6'9 PF/C Osseo- Skilled big man with solid athleticism. Theisen has a great basketball pedigree and solid IQ. Has a solid post presence and perimeter shooting range to around 15-18 feet. Ian possesses the same skill said he has the last seasons, although more refined he still hasn't added anything to his game. Ian has offers from Cal Poly, Drake, Northern Colorado and Montana State while drawing interest from Nebraska, Northwestern and UNI.


9) Dejon Davis 6'3 G Kennedy- Explosive and versatile combo guard Dejon has displayed the ability to take over a game on offense in lock down other guards on defense. Davis is a dynamic athlete with good shooting range from deep and solid play making ability. Averaging 14.3 points 5.0 rebounds and 2 assist this season. Davis is a stud and possesses all the physical attributes needed to be a high Division one guard prospect. Davis is drawing interest from Iowa, University of Missouri, New Mexico State, Drake, Universal Milwaukee and Missouri State.


10) Ngor Barnaba 6'9 C Rochester John Marshall- Solid overall all game able to contribute in many ways and impacts the game on both sides of the court. Great athlete, good feet, very agile with the ability to play above the rim.Can impact the game without the ball. Averaging 10.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 2.0 blocks this season. With offers from North Dakota, and North Dakota State, while drawing great regional interest. Barnaba has great upside and could be sleeping stud.

11) Jordan Dembley PG 6'2 Holy Angels- Prototype lead guard skill set, high caliber pure point guard. Dembley has all the tools to be a Solid D1 guard prospect. Averaging 14.2 points this while leading his team in assist.  Dembley has offers from New Mexico State, University of San Francisco, University of Green Bay Wisconsin, University Milwaukee and drawing interest from Butler, Illinois and Indiana State.


12) Weeler Baker 6'3 SG Osseo- Weeler has the ability penetrate the defense of the dribble finish above the rim in traffic, can score on all three levels. More of a score than a shooter Baker can light it up on offense. Weeler has offers from Vermont and New Hampshire, while drawing interest from Wofford, Indiana State, UNI and Illinois State.


13) Jon Sabaski 6'1 PG Prior Lake- High caliber pure point guard, with solid athleticism and great play making ability. Averaging 17.8 points 3.8 rebounds and 4.4 assist. Proto type lead guard skill set, good court vision,  solid IQ ability to break defense off the dribble. Good perimeter shooter and solid defender. Sabaski has committed to South Dakota State on a full basketball scholarship.


14) Jeffery Jones 6'1 G Washburn-  The most physically dynamic athlete in this class. The Gopher football recruit is a monster to deal with on both sides of the ball.  Jones speed, explosiveness, strength are unparalleled by all the other guards in this class. A one on one nightmare on both sides of the court. Jones possesses all the physical attributes to contribute on Division 1 level. More skilled than some give him credit for, with the focus on him being a five star recruit running back.


15) Jake Wright 6'4 SG Hopkins - Skilled wing shooter, high caliber overall player, with solid guard skill set. Averaging a team high 16.4 points this season.   Wright is a stud from the perimeter as well as elite ability to get open using screens and through the offense. Wright has offers from Vermont, Drake, University of Chicago and drawing interest from Northwestern, Wisconsin, University of Minnesota and Arizona.
