Minnesota 2017 and 2018 class Stock Boosters

This is a great time of year to take a look at some of prospects that should be  make headway in there recruiting trail this summer from Minnesota's 2017 and 2018 classes. Many of these young prospects have been role players during the high school season and now have the opportunity to showcase their talent this summer, as well as on a national stage in some premier youth basketball events.

2017 class prospects


Gary Trent Jr 6'4 SG Pulley 16s

Trent is coming off a very solid freshman campaign and should be primed to have a breakout traveling season. Trent's size, athleticism, pedigree and shooting range make Trent a must watch. Trent will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his talent on Pulley's 16's EYBL team this summer. Playing Pulley's 16's schedule Trent will be front and center playing in 3 Peach Jam qualifier events this spring.






Simeon Davis 6'4 SG Wisconsin United 16's

Davis is coming off a stand out freshman season, demonstrating he a is factor at the varsity level. Davis is one of the most complete guards and the premier perimeter defender in the class.  Davis continues to develop into a high caliber shooting guard prospect playing 16s for Wisconsin United this spring and summer.







Alex Falcon 6'4 SF Real Athletics

Falcon is one of the most dynamic athletes in the class and sure to demand attention from coaches this spring. Falcon continues to develop his skill set around his rare physical attributes. Falcon has as much potential as any prospect in Minnesota's 2017 class and should continue to progress into a high caliber wing prospect.







Mar Mar Hughes 5'8 PG MN Lockdown 16s

Hughes development over the last year into a prototype point guard prospect, demands attention. Hughes now being able to create for others and finishing around the rim consistently make him a factor. Hughes will get the opportunity to showcase his talent as he plays 16's schedule for MN Lockdown over this spring






2018 class prospects


Jovanni Bickham 6'6 F Wisconsin United 16's

Bickham is the premier front court prospect in Minnesota's 2018 class and one of the top rising prospects nationally. Bickham has the size, athleticism and skill set that will draw major attention playing up at 16's this spring and summer for Wisconsin United. Bickham has more skill than size which is scary coming from the 6'6 14 year old.







Shae Mitchell 6'5 SF MN Future Stars

Mitchell continues to develop into a high caliber wing prospect that will be drawing great interest from coaches this spring. Mitchell's energy and athleticism are attributes you can't teach. Mitchell combination of face up skills, finishing around the rim and athleticism will make coaches take notice.








Ryan Larson 5'8 PG Howard Pulley


Larson is one of few 8th graders this season who played major varsity minutes and for good reason. Larson is skilled, competitive, crafty and plays much more mature than your average 8th grader. Larson will be getting plenty of playing time to develop playing with Pulley's 14U over this spring.






Gabe Kalscheur 6'3 F 43 Hoops


Kalscheur is a prospect that will be hearing from this spring and summer as he makes strides towards developing into one of the top prospects in the class. Kalscheur consistently competes at a high level on both sides of the ball and will be making some noise this summer playing in the GNBA.







Daniel Oturu 6'5 F Pulley


Oturu is one of the most improved prospects over the last year and now has the opportunity to developed around similar talent playing for Pulley. Oturu has great potential, physical attributes and should be a high impact player playing 14U.
