This game is a hyped and intense as any other this season as Hopkins and Minnetonka meet for the third time this season. Minnetoka won both of their regular season games this year. Each of these Lake conference teams are having good season and would like to make a run to State.

Game Review This game was a epic event as both teams left it all on the court and played their hearts out. This was a defensive battle and all out effort to win this game. The defense for both teams made it had to score and causing long scoreless periods during the game. Minnetoka could not get the third win on Hopkins this season something maybe no team could do. Hopkins got the win the counted the most moving on to the section finals and one step closer to State.

Hopkins Hopkins put it all on the floor to get this win a move on to the section finals. Kamali Chambers came with his A game leading his team in scoring and to the victory. Jake Write 18 and Phillip Stribling 11 had a solid performances making plays to get the win. Jamal Davis 4pts  and Nick Johnson 3pts did not have much of a impact on the win. Amir Coffey 11 had foul trouble picking up his first less then a minute into the game, Coffey had a play-making impact and had 6 of Hopkins 9 points in the first overtime before fouling out. Stephon Sharp made the most of his minutes coming in making big plays. Hopkins got the win when it counted to move on to section finals.

Minnetonka Minnetoka came to win but need more big plays from its role players. Riley Dearing 34pts made big shoot after big shot giving Minnetoka a chance to win. Grant Shaffer 10pts and Mike Fernando 10pts made solid contributions to try to get this win for the Skippers. Minnetoka fell short of the victory.
